Over 150 years of Brotherhood…
Meet KA Alum Terry Bennett
Terry Bennett (Alpha-Gamma—Louisiana State University, Class of ’64) looks back on his time as a Kappa Alpha with great appreciation. “From my first day as a KA Pledge, I found a true place of brotherhood…a place I could belong, grow, and succeed,” he shared.
“Back then, I chose KA because of the fraternity’s history. With more than 150 years of history, there’s so much to be proud of. So much to pass down to the next generation.” Bennett counts KA member Gen. Robert E. Lee as a personal inspiration, as well as other key alumni.
And today, Bennett still reaps the benefits of brotherhood; “Fifty years later, I still have lunch with my KA brothers every week. We keep each other on target. And of course we have a great time, too. I can’t thank KA enough for these lifelong friends.”
Bennett is a longtime member of the Crimson & Gold Society—KA’s exclusive giving club honoring brothers who contribute $1,000 or more annually. He declared, “I will always give back to KA. Always. I want the organization to continue to grow and give today’s young men the chance to build the skills and relationships that I did.”
He also issued a challenge to every KA alum…a challenge that cannot be ignored. “Joining the Crimson & Gold shows that you’re willing to put your name—your back—on the line for the fraternity that has given so much to you. You received so much. How can you give less?”
So please, take a moment to join the Crimson & Gold Society today with a tax-deductible gift of $1,000 or more.
When you do, you’ll give deserving young men life-changing leadership opportunities. You’ll provide access to the most successful values-based leadership education programs within the fraternal world.
You’ll train the next generation of community, state, and national leaders. You’ll change the world.
